There are many floral headdresses on the market- some made individually by bespoke producers, and, at the other end of the scale, some basic mass produced garlands which are designed for maximum profit and minimum cost to make.
PoppyDaisy were one of the first to produce a wide range of floral headdresses at affordable prices, selling through small boutiques and at music festivals. Their range of floral head garlands are designed and produced in house- there is no subcontractor- and so quality can be maintained easily. The garlands are made in China, but as PoppyDaisy own the factory, they have a direct influence on conditions, and the staff wages are three times the average for the area. It's an extended family- regular visits from the business owner mean that relationships are good, and everyone knows everyone else by their first name.
PoppyDaisy flower head garlands are made from florist's wire, wrapped in colour coordinated cloth, with paper or foam flowers and strings of fabric leaves. They're adjustable in size to fit most heads, and the flowers have been chosen for their strength- cheaper garlands often shed lots of flowers! There's a huge range to choose from, and new models are being added all the time. Discounts are available for larger purchases- please call for details.
